Ada Poliandro

Ada Jane Poliandro, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and formerly of Orange County, CA, and residing in Hilliard, OH, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009. She was a pediatric oncology nurse and dedicated more than a decade of her life to the service of battered and homeless women and children as a counselor at the Sheepfold Center in Orange County, California. Member of Daughters of the American Revolution. Preceded in death by parents Frederick and Josephine Harmer. Survived by son Joseph (Nadia) Poliandro and daughter Catherine McKaig, grandchildren Robert, Brittany, Brandon and Brianna. Family will receive friends 4:30-6:30 pm Monday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard; where funeral service will follow Monday at 6:30 pm.
