Ada Thompson died peacefully in her sleep February 26, 2012 at the age of 89, at Monterey Care Center in Grove City, OH. Ada was born on August 8, 1922 in Isonville, Elliott County Kentucky. Ada was a longtime resident of the City of Hilliard where she graduated with honors in the class of 1940. She then attended Bliss College. Was a member of Hayden Enterprise Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clyde William; daughter, Margaret; son, Clyde William Jr.; parents, Della and Jasper Prince; brothers, Curtis, Ivan, Willis, and Fred; sister, Vida Carrier; son-in-law, Rick Henderson; grandson, Darryl Thompson; and great grandson, Dylan Harms. Survived by sons, Robert (Grace) and David (Norsie) Thompson; daughters, Elizabeth (Michael) Snelling, JoAn (Larry) Camp, and Rosemary Henderson; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; brother, Henderson Prince; sisters, Bessie Jacob, Jessie Miller, and Gladys Buckley; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH where a funeral service will take place at 10 AM on Saturday with Pastor Phil Conrad officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
