Addie McCann

Addie McCann, age 96, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend of Hilliard, passed away on July 6, 2010. Addie enjoyed life filled with purpose, caring for family and devoting herself to others. She never met an individual she could not call a friend. She was one of the Founders of the Hilliard Senior Citizen Center; where she was known for her homemade noodles and baked goods. She was the third inductee into Hilliard Senior Citizen Center Hall of Fame. She was retired from the Columbus Dispatch/Citizen Journal, member of the Hilliard United Methodist Church and the Northwest Franklin County Historical Society. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred McCann and is survived by daughter Mary Ann (Ron) Radcliff, grandchildren George (Dodie) Radcliff and Lynn (Kirk) Leifheit, great grandchildren Kelsey and Matt Leifheit , Ben and Emily Radcliff, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 pm Friday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday with Pastor Karen Muntzing officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
