Alene Myers

Alene B. Myers, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 28, 2007. Alene was born December 18, 1922 in Trenton, FL. She lived many years in Atlanta, GA, and moved to Ohio in 1999, residing in Hilliard. She was a member of Dublin Baptist Church and sang with the Hilliard Happiness Entertainers. Preceded in death by son, George Slaughter. Survived by son Gene (Becki) Slaughter of Cole Camp, MO; daughter Linda (Tom) Harvey of Columbus, grandchildren, Sarah and Andrew Trafford; Renee, Scott, Kerry, Shannon, Garrett, and Sededra Slaughter; Leslie Dalton; Jana Clare Woods; several great-grandchildren; brothers, O.W. Bailey, James (Eloise) Bailey and J.N. Bailey, all residing in FL; and sister Jane (Samuel) Quincey of Killeen, TX. She will be remembered as a sweet, loving mom and grandma, a good friend, neighbor, and a faithful follower of Jesus. Calling will be held on Sunday, September 30 from 3-4pm at The Tidd Funeral Home 5265 Norwich Street Hilliard, OH 43026 where a memorial service will be held immediately after calling at 4pm. Interment will be in Trenton, FL.
