DINGUS Alfred Dingus, age 83 of London,OH, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at his residence.
He was born July 28, 1926 in Dickenson County, VA. He was the son of the late Fred and Alice (McCoy) Dingus.
He was preceded in death by wife, Helen Dingus; sons, Wayne and Martin.
He is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Susan (Dingus) & Roger Seymour of Mt. Sterling;
4 grandchildren, Ronald & Tammy (Seymour) Vansickle of Mt. Sterling, Tommy and Tracey (Seymour) Perkins of Bloomingburg, Rick & Terressa (Seymour) Stires of Mt. Sterling, and Tommy Seymour of Mt. Sterling; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandson; special companion, Gearolyne (Geri) Hiles of Darbydale.
A Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2010 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Wayne R. Seymour officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 5 – 8 p.m.
