Alma Betts

Alma Louise Betts, age 86, of Hilliard, Ohio passed away May 19, 2015. Born February 18, 1929 in Vinton County, Ohio to John Dennis and Agnes Mae (Scott) Waldren. Alma retired from COPCO Papers, Inc. and attended Brice United Methodist Church before she became ill. She married Thomas H. Betts on May 15, 1948. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by children Marilyn Geiger of Groveport, Carolyn (Robert) Adams of Pataskala and James (Patricia) Betts of Lancaster, grandchildren Terri (Matt) Newcomer, Bob (Cristi) Adams, Jr., Christopher and Kimberly Betts, great grandchildren Michael Wonsick, Averie Adams, Jameson and Cameron Betts. Alma’s family would like to thank the staff at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala, Ohio for the wonderful care she has received since March 2012. Her family would also like to thank Tridia Hospice for their comfort and guidance in celebrating her life during the final months. Family will receive friends 5-8pm Friday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
