Alonzo Sims

Alonzo “Lonnie” Sims, age 81, of Hilliard, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007. He was a member of United Steel Workers Local #2345, staff representative for the United Steel Workers of America, S.O.A.R., Masonic Lodge of Louisville, Ohio and Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus. Survived by loving wife of 60 years Rita, children Rita Lynn Humbert, Dick (Pam) Sims, Evelyn Kay (Dean) Thomas, Gale Raye (Mark) Kirkman, Lu Ann (Chad) Bourcier, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In honoring the request of Lonnie there will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Vessels of Christ Ministries, P.O. BOX 28228, Columbus, OH 43228. Arrangements completed by the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard.
