Alva Hamby

Alva L. Hamby, age 71, of Dublin, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Member of Hayden Enterprise Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, James Douglas; parents, Kelly and Lola Boyd; and sister, Neole. Survived by sons, Ray Dean (Nancy) Hamby and Randy (Kathy) Hamby; sister, Ella Mae (Harold) Deerfield; grandchildren, Melissa, Chad, Jacob, Gary, Corey, and Michelle; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Cali; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 where a funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday with Pastor Steve Hicks officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Contributions may be made to The Tidd Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
