Alvin Eiterman

Alvin R. Eiterman, age 76, of Hilliard, went home to be with the Lord March 20, 2011. Employed with Overhead Door Company/Wayne- Dalton, the former Kinnear Rolling Door of Columbus for 56 years, during which time he patented a number of inventions. Preceded in death by parents Carl and Frieda Eiterman, sister Ruth Morgan and son Dr. Richard Eiterman. Survived by loving wife of 53 years Carolyn, daughters Jeannette Miller, Elisabeth (Bill) Ryan and Anne Eiterman, grandchildren Andrew, Eric and Justin Eiterman, brother John (Marge) Eiterman, nephews Tim and Tom, brother-in-law John Morgan, nieces Linda, Kathy and Karen, a host of relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 am Thursday. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
