Angelito Belardo

Angelito 'Lito' Belardo entered into the arms of Jesus in his Heavenly Home on January 31, 2016. He was born on November 17, 1939 in Silang, Cavite, Philippines to Emiliano and Matea Belardo. Lito obtained his degree of Doctor of Medicine from Far Eastern University, completed his anesthesia residency at The Ohio State University and practiced for over 30 years as an anesthesiologist, retiring from Galion Community Hospital in 2001. He was also a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Freemason. Lito was a loved and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Orpha (Eusebio) Belardo; his sister, Belen (Belardo) Marquina; and his three children, Leah and Todd Heinlen of Hilliard, Lee Edwin and Michelle Belardo of Avon and Lito and Sheri Belardo of Massillon. His greatest pride and joy are his seven grandchildren, Kyle Heinlen, Kayla Heinlen, Jacob Belardo, Zoe Belardo, Matt Belardo, Alex Belardo and Jack Belardo. He is also survived by his nephew, Marlon Marquina; and nieces, Emibel (Marquina) Alegre and Janette (Marquina) Parducho. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Hilliard United Methodist Church, 5445 Scioto Darby Rd. in Hilliard, OH.
