Ann Zietsma, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away in her home on December 13 after a short illness. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, her career included serving as Executive Secretary for the Fire Chief of the Toledo Fire Division. She served in that capacity throughout the tenure of several Chiefs. After retirement, Ann lived in Idaho, California, and Nevada before returning to Ohio late in life to be close to family. Her later hobbies included gardening, reading and jigsaw puzzles. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Glenn, four siblings, and her twin infant daughters Jean and Joan DeVanna. She is survived by six of her children: Linda Breier of Perrysburg, Colleen Schroeder (James) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Thomas DeVanna (Cheryl) of Westerville, David DeVanna of Dublin, Constance Redman of Dublin, and Leslie Balko of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. A mass of Christian burial will be held 11 am Tuesday at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Road, Hilliard, OH 43026. Interment Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo, OH.
