Anna Faessel

Anna L. Faessel, age 90, of Dublin, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Convalarium. She was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church and formerly a member of their seniors club. A member of Ladies of the Oriental Shrine, Toledo. Prior to moving to Columbus she was involved in many clubs and organizations. Preceded in death by her parents Agnes and Rudolph Guenther, brothers Leroy and Rudy Guenther of St. Louis, grandchildren Anna Marie and Michael Louis Thompson and loving husband of 55 years Michael Faessel. Survived by daughters Diane and Michael Matuska of Dublin, Debra Thompson of Swanton, grandchildren Robert Matuska, Chris and Lori Matuska, great grandchildren Chloe and Evan Matuska, sister Marie Eickmeier along with numerous nieces, nephews, the McLoughlins who became her extended family, as well as friends and care givers at both Carriage Court of Hilliard and The Convalarium at Indian Run. Family and friends may call 4-9 pm Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the TIDD FUENRAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10 am Monday, March 2, 2009 at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH. Private entombment Toledo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Pilot Dogs, or charity of your choice.
