Anna Ruth Kitchen

Anna Ruth Kitchen, age 82, of Columbus went home to be with Jesus her Lord and Savior. She was a devoted wife for 61 years, a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Enjoyed collecting rocks, working puzzles, arranging flowers and gardening. Loved spending time with her family, lunches with friends, listening to blue grass and taking trips. She was a Christian who loved serving her Lord by singing in the choir and working in various children ministries.

Preceded in death by parents Lacy and Mittie Worley, sisters Jody Martin, May Worley, Jimmie Worley, Margaret Spadafore, Mary Reed and brothers Ed Worley, June Worley, Bill Worley. Grandson, Erik Filyaw and Son-In-Law Terry Filyaw. Survived by husband James Kitchen, children Lora Filyaw, Sheila (Greg) Patrick and Kim (Wes) Carson, brother Jack Worley, grandchildren Kerri Carson, Kalie Carson, Lacy (Zach) Kiser, CJ Patrick and Gregory (Sara) Patrick, great-granddaughter Daisy Kiser.

Her love and kindness will forever be remembered and cherished as her spirit continues to guide us as we carry with us the lessons she taught and the love she gave. We will hold you in our hearts forever...until we meet again.

A memorial service will be held 12 pm Friday, September 20, 2024 at the TIDD FUNURAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Inurnment Alton Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
