Anna Mae Keck

Anna Mae Keck, age 72, passed away January 11, 2008. She was a member of Hilliard United Methodist Church and a graduate of The Ohio State School for the blind and a member of their Alumni Association. Anna Mae was employed by Godwill Industries and was an advocate for the disabled. She also volunteered at the Wooster Children's Home. Preceded in death by parents Robert and Genevieve Kinney of Hilliard. Survived by children, Amy (John) Rucker, Christina (Ron) Shelton of St. Paul, MN; sister, Sarah (Sally) Kinney of St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Michael and Anna Rucker, Shamaine and Brandon Elledge. The family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care that was given to her throughout her illness. The family will receive friends Monday 10-11 a.m. at Hilliard United Methodist Church, 5445 Scioto Darby Road in Hilliard. Funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor David Ziegel officiating. Burial 2 p.m. Monday at Salt Creek Cemetery, Rix Mills, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church, Mt. Carmel Hospice or First Community Village.
