Anna Grace Root, age 13, of Hilliard, passed away August 30, 2021. Anna was a member of First Community Church where she was in the choir and enjoyed Camp Akita. Anna was a student at Heritage Middle School. She was a member of the Track and Field team and the band, where she played trombone. She loved playing soccer with many great friends. Anna loved art and was a creative soul who will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched.  Preceded in death by great grandparents William O. (Carol) Wheeler, Kenneth (Grace) Burdette, James Don (Margaret Helen Roderick) Root, Harold Gowen (Mabel Minter Upton) Roberts. Survived by parents Tom and Terri Root, siblings Chris and Nora Root, grandparents Mitch and Ruth Ann Wheeler and Ted S. and Laura E. Root, aunts and uncles Liz (Joe) Bishara, Mandy Wheeler, Dan (Karen) Root, Nancy (Ken) Marquette, many loving cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, September 6, 2021 at First Community Church, 3777 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43221. A time of visitation begins at 4 pm followed by a service at 5 pm.
