Anne Bond

Mrs. Anne Bond, age 88, passed away peacefully July 17, 2020 with her beloved family at her side. She was born Mary Annette Sorey in Hermosa Beach, CA on July 23, 1931 to the late Douglas Fleming Sorey and Mary Eleanor Sorey (née Sherman). Preceded in death by grandchildren Morrill and Ethan Lowe.

Anne attended Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia; University of Tennessee. Anne lived in Nassau, Bahamas for 20+ years and moved to Naples, FL. She worked as an accountant and retired in 1993. Anne married the love of her life Julian Bond in 1983 and moved to Columbus, OH in 1995.

Anne is survived by her beloved husband Julian; her children Patrick (Melissa) Lowe, and daughter Linda Duggan; step-children; Tari McNamara, Connie (Richard) Sigler, Deborah (Errol) English, James Bond (Donna Cramer), John Bond, Timothy (Ellen) Bond; grandchildren, Elliot (Sarah), Dylan, James, Heather (Nathaniel); step-grandchildren, Jennie (Todd), Dennis (Cynthia), Lona (James), Erin (Harry), Sara, Patrick, Shawn, Nikki, Brandon, Scott; great-grandchildren, Landon, Gaige, Cora, Hayden; step-great grandchildren, Brandon, Priscilla, Alexandra, Madeline, Sophia, William, Cameron, Andrew, Gabriella, Madison, Olivia, Sophia, Harry, Magdelenina, Aidan, Ryan, Donovan, John Carlos, Penelope. She leaves many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Anne mastered many arts, especially appliqué and quilting, knitting and sewing. She loved her faith and was a member of the Mountview Christian Church.
