Ariel Rachell Pond, age 27, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 26, 2014. She was born May 24, 1986 in Akron, OH and lived in Cuyahoga Falls until coming to Hilliard, OH in 2000. She was a published poet and author and an accomplished cook. She is survived by husband, Kenny; daughter, Madeleine; parents, Paula (Rick) Garman and Mike Coleman; brother Adam (Angela Case) Coleman; sister, Alysha (Dominic Merendo) Coleman; grandparents, Bernice Coleman, Paul and Donna Gibson, and Ed and Kathy Wilcox; nieces and nephews, Garrett, Alyssa, Faith, Aubrey, River, Mason and Marley; sister-in-law, Angela (Nathan) Engstrom; best friend, Nuala Wolfe; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A gathering of friends and family will be Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 1 until time of memorial service at 2 p.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 2480 W. Dublin-Granville Rd. in Columbus. Pastor Jim Wilson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Madeleine Pond, PNC Bank, 1715 Hilliard Rome Rd., HIlliard, OH 43026. Arrangements with the Tidd Family Funeral Home.
