Arlene Carroll

Arlene Carroll, age 88, of Hilliard, while surrounded by her loving family, slipped peacefully from this life into the presence of Jesus on Saturday, September 26, 2009. There she was reunited with her husband of 45 years Norman Carroll, who preceded her in death in 1987. Also proceeding her in death are sister Margarett Harmon and brother Freeland Varney. Arlene is the cherished mother of Norman, Leah Ann (Bob) Burton of Chesapeake, VA, Ed (Emma) and Timothy (Vikki), sister Lena Dotson of Florida, brothers Jim (Josephine) Varney of Georgia and Glen (Nita) Varney of Indiana, 8 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and countless friends and family that will all miss her dearly. Family will receive friends 6-9 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 1 pm Thursday Interment Sunset Cemetery.
