Arnie Holley

Arnie Lee Holley, age 72, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 29, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Emma Holley. He is survived by his sister Gail Cornell as well as many loving nieces, nephews, grand kids, extended family and friends. He was US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, as well as retiring from O.D.O.T. after thirty years of service. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Hilliard Lodge 2236. He served as the Administrator for the Hilliard Moose for seventeen years as well as serving the Ohio State Moose Association as State President. He earned the Pilgrim Degree of Merit, which is the highest honor the Moose can bestow.  He was also a member of the American Legion Post 614 and the VFW Post 4931. Arnie enjoyed trap shooting, fishing and his morning trips to McDonalds. Family will receive friends for a celebration of life Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 4-8 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Military honors and a Moose service will begin at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moose Charities, 155 S. International Dr., Mooseheart, IL 60539-1100. Arnie’s final resting place will be a private burial at Alton Cemetery.
