Arnold J. Large, age 75 of Orient, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at his residence. He was born Dec. 7, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio. The son of the late Arthur J. and Jestie (Adams) Large. He was a member of Carpenters Union Local #200.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Large; sisters Alkie Evans and Lorna Parsons.
He is survived by children, Arnold J. Large (Diane), Anthony W. Large (Lydia), Audrey J. Mayo (Steven), Kevin E. Large (Brenda), Barbara Kitchen, Larry & Brenda Baisden, George & Tammy Barbery, and Cathy Ford; 23 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; Special Companion, Roxy C. Ford; Siblings, Alice Pennington, Shirley Knapp, Lawrence “Bud” (Judy) Large, Joella Pennington.
A Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 331 W. Main Street, Mt. Sterling, OH. 43143. Anthony W. Large officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.
