Arthur Church

Arthur James (Jim) Church, age 76, of Hilliard, Ohio went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 17, 2015 after a long, hard fought battle with COPD and Parkinson's. He was born April 14,1938 in Grayson, Kentucky to the late John Edward and Murl Church. Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Lois Faye Church, and brother Charles Ray. Survived by loving sons Ben (Keith) Church of Groveport, Ohio; Rick Church of Hilliard, Ohio; daughters Joyce Church (Glen) of Grove City, Ohio; Amy Kerber (Andy) and adored grandson Tyler Kerber of Delaware, Ohio; brothers John, Joe, Luke and Eddie Church of Grayson, Ky.; sister Thella Allen, of Grayson, Ky.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a retired farmer who worked hard all his life, never met a stranger, he was an avid outdoors man who loved to garden and hunt, a devoted husband, loving father and provider whose world revolved around his only beloved grandson Tyler. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed by all.
Family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Friday at the Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 A.M Saturday. Interment Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson.
