Audrey "Mimi" J. Kitchen

Audrey J. “Mimi” Kitchen age 92, of Hilliard, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2022.  Born in Canal Winchester, Ohio to the late Cecil and Esther Taylor, Audrey was a graduate of Groveport High School and attended Capital University.  Audrey was an actuarial assistant at the Ohio Farm Bureau Insurance Company before becoming the Secretary-Treasurer of the family business J.M. Kitchen & Sons, Inc.  She was very active in her children’s school activities and was a Board Member of the Hilliard Girls’ Softball Association, a 4-H Leader involved with the Franklin County Fair, a Hilliard High School Athletic Booster and was also a huge fan of Bobby Knight.  Audrey was an avid OSU fan and a general fan of all collegiate sports.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years James M. Kitchen who passed in 2004, her grandson Andrew James Kitchen who passed in 1995, son Kevin Alan Kitchen who passed in 2008 and her brother Ronald Neil Taylor who passed in 2004.  Audrey is survived by her children: Jimmy (Connie) Kitchen, Jacalyn Wellman, Deborah (Dale) Ross, Dwayne Kitchen and Karen Kitchen Weber; her grandchildren: Michele Wellman, Ursula (Bradley) Warnick, Korinne (Tom) Kitchen-Smith, Amber (Aaron) Cooley, April Kitchen, Jaclyn (Scotty) Ross Wilson, Ryan Ross, Jacob Ross, Dustin Kitchen, Donovan Kitchen, Taylor Kitchen, David Booth and Shawn Morlan; her great-grandchildren: Jordan Young, Jaden Young, Brendin Warnick, Cameron Warnick and Kolton Smith, Brigham Wilson and Lindsay Wilson; her siblings: Charles (Pat) Taylor and Jennie (Ralph) Rawn, sister-in-law Judith Taylor, and many loving nieces and nephews, wonderful neighbors and many, many friends.

Family will receive friends from 4:00p.m.-8:00p.m. WEDNESDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where her Funeral Service will be held 10:00a.m. THURSDAY, JUNE 9, 2022.  Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
