Barbara Lynn Baas

BAAS, Barbara Lynn, age 66, of Columbus, Ohio, sadly passed away on February 12, 2021 from pancreatic cancer. Barbara was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Baas and Clare (Richard) Goulet. She is survived by her daughters, Shelly Howell and Alison Howell; granddaughters Cassidy and Kaitlyn Chenault; sisters, Sandy (Mark) Bentley, Linda Baas, Dori Goulet-Repuyan (Jerry Kurtz); brothers, Rob (Gretchen) Baas and David (Carrie) Baas as well as many nieces and nephews that were very dear to her heart. 

Following Barbara’s career in Insurance Sales and Financial Services, she pursued her passion for the arts and became an accomplished painter. Her love for water colors will be enjoyed for years through her beautiful paintings that she referred to as “Visions from her heart.” She loved spending time with her granddaughters and enjoyed reading, knitting, and going to the casino with her sister Sandy. Barb also enjoyed spending time with family, friends, Todd Hull, and her beloved dog Roxie, who gave her so much joy and fulfillment. She will be deeply missed by many.
