Barbara Barrett

Barbara Barrett, age 78, died Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Kobacker House. She was born in Winooski, Vermont to the late William and Florence Gabbeitt. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, James P. Barrett. Survived by her siblings, William (Rose) Gabbeitt and Michael (Teresa) Gabbeitt and daughters, Jaye (Tim) Kremer, Voorheesville, NY and Susan (Tim) Colchin, Dublin, Ohio and grandchildren, Terrence, Matthew and Michael Kremer and Elizabeth Colchin. A graduate of Fanny Allen School of Nursing and St. Michael's College, Vermont. Retired from the Columbus Medical Center after 23 years as Research Nurse Coordinator and Administrator of the Indigent Arthritis Research Center. Long-time Hilliard, Ohio resident and also resided in North Fort Myers, Florida. Member of St. Brendan the Navigator church for 45 years. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:45 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Rodric DiPietro, celebrant.
