Barbara J. Barson

 Barbara Jean Barson of New Albany, Ohio passed away in her home on December 2^nd 2021. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 5^th 1950 to Ernest and Iris Horns, and was a graduate of Stebbins High School, Class of 1968. After high school Barb attended The Ohio State University, where she received her degree in Dental Hygiene. Barb was very well known in Columbus where she practiced as a dental hygienist for over 26 years, most recently at Herrick Dental formally Verhoff Dental. 

Barb is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bill whom she met while attending college, daughter Brandi Bogomolov (Nikolai), son Bill (Amy), five grandsons Alex, Leo and Nicholas Bogomolov, and Liam and Luke Barson. Barb is also survived by her sister Susan McLeod of Dayton, Ohio, sister-in-law Ginger Barson along with brothers-in-law Thom and John of Bowling Green, Ohio.

Barb loved to travel, setting foot on five of the seven continents and over 20 countries, highlighted by trips to Russia, Australia, and New Zealand. She accomplished her ultimate travel goal last August by completing her visitation of all 50 states. 

Along with family, Barb will be missed by many friends especially her “Thursday Lunch Group”, her golf/party bunch and her Bible Study Group.
