Barbara Hinkle

Barbara A. Hinkle (nee Shaw), born in Newark, OH, on February 23, 1937, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2018, following a brief illness. Preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Mary Shaw, and twin sister, Kay Van Wagner. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Keith (Melanie) Fish, Mary Fish, and Roy (Lora) Fish; nieces, Carol (Andy) Lambert and Cathy White; brother-in-law, Tom Van Wagner; grandchildren, Janelle, Liana, Evelyn, Garon, and Hannah Fish; and many friends. Barbara retired from White Castle Systems’ accounting department after 34 years of service. She was a longtime member of Linworth Baptist Church. She also attended Mountview Christian Church and found great comfort in the teachings of the Bible. She will be most remembered for her kindness and generosity, her encouraging words and heartwarming smile, and her devotion to helping others. Visitation will be 1-3pm, Saturday, July 21 ^st, followed by a brief service, at Linworth Baptist Church, 6200 Linworth Rd, Worthington, OH.
