Barbara Louise Windon

Barbara L. Windon, age 84, passed away August 23, 2023. Barbara was born on July 5, 1939. She is survived by husband Lowell M. Windon, son Donald (Michelle) George, brother David (Deborah) Edgar, stepchildren Lowell (Dorothy) Windon Jr., Vivian Thompson, Lloyd (Rose) Windon, Lance (Karolin) Windon, eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by Father Robert D Edgar and Mother Ruth L Edgar (Christian).

Barbara retired from Rockwell International where she spent many years as a Chief Executive Administrative Assistant. She attended several churches over the years (Midway Christian Church, Tri-Village Church of Christ, and Jersey Baptist Church) and was active in all of them. Barb and Lowell loved designing, making, and selling crafts in their retirement years.

Barbara was a loving, generous, gentle soul and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We rejoice in the knowledge that she is reunited with her Mother and Father in Heaven and will one day welcome us to join her there.

A graveside service will be held on September 30, 2023 at 11:30 at Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 East Broad St., Columbus, Ohio. Pastor William Lavely officiating.
