Bessie Jordan

Bessie Lorneda “Neda” Jordan, age 77, of Hilliard, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016. She was a member of St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church and retired as a Unit Secretary for Doctor’s West Hospital. Preceded in death by parents Mervin and Bessie Smith, brothers Roger, Mervin “Bud” and James “Ronnie” Smith and granddaughter Mary Beth Chapman. Survived by loving husband of 59 years Thomas “Tom”, children Catherine (Steve) Chapman, Thomas A. Jordan, Dr. Theodore Jordan and Laura (Derek) Lindsay, siblings Walter Smith, Levonna Purington, Virginia Pitsenbarger, Donna Jean Klosterman, Susan Riggleman and Joyce Thomas, grandchildren Jeremy (Erika) Chapman, Christy Townsend, Marisa Jordan, Meghan Lindsay and Bailey Lindsay, great grandchildren Caleb and Kylie Townsend and Cadence Housand, numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 am Friday at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026. Interment Alton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to Alzheimer’s Association, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.
