Betty C. Jones

Betty C. Jones, age 88, of Harrisburg, passed away September 1, 2014. Betty was a longtime Hilliard resident, an officer in the organization Packages for Vietnam, former secretary of Hilliard United Methodist Church, member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a volunteer for Norwich Historical Society. Preceded in death by former husband Robert E. Jones, friend Ervin Hicks and son Ronald L. Jones. Survived by daughter Shirley Jones, son Jeff (Carolyn) Jones, grandchildren Mindy Tate, Danny (Laura) Jones and Tucker Jones, 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Family will receive friends Thursday 4:30-7pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH; where funeral service will follow at 7 pm. A graveside service will be held 11 am Friday at Green Lawn Cemetery.
