Betty Karn

Betty (Wardell) Karn, age 91, of Orient, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010. Graduate of The Ohio State University and retired teacher from Westfall Local School District. Preceded in death by loving husband, Howard Karn and brother, Wendel Wardell. Survived by son, Phil (Cheryl) Karn; daughter, Mary Ann Karn (Stephen) Jenkins; grandchildren, R.H. and Barbara Karn; sister, Lee Corder; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at THE PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11AM with Pastor Leland Brehm officiating. Interment Pleasant Cemetery.
