Betty Schwarm, age 85, of Galloway, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010 at The Laurels of Hilliard. Betty was known as a thoughtful, good-hearted woman. She was an extremely disciplined woman who displayed this quality by making straight A’s at Springfield South High School while working full time at the local bank. She had many loves; including reading, frequenting history museums, and watching good movies. She also had a passion for nature. This passion brought about her love for hiking and her contributions to many conservation and wildlife foundations. She lost her husband, Samuel Schwarm Sr. in 1982. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Jack Sourwine. She leaves behind a beloved son, Samuel Schwarm Jr. as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11am Wednesday at Ferncliff Cemetery 501 W. McCreight Ave. Springfield, OH 45504.
