Beverly Sue Havens, 69 of Waterloo, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at her home after a long battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 2, 1942 in Washington C.H., daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Smith) Webb. On May 28, 1961 she married the late Douglas Havens who preceded her in death May 27, 2011.
She was also preceded in death by brothers Don Webb, James Webb, and Fred Webb; sister Carolyn (Red) Justice.
She is survived by her children, Dorothy Rogers (Michael) of Chillicothe, Douglas Havens of Fayette County, Susan Havens of Waterloo, Jennifer Havens (Thomas Nicely) of Columbus; grandchildren are Joshua Blevins, Sgt Bert (Samantha) Blevins, Adam and April Havens, Caleb and Morgan Blevins, Amanda, Courtney, Bethany Havens, James, Quentin, Perry Havens, Hayley Nicely; 9 great grandchildren Anthony, Brandon, Gavin, Alexa, Allison, Garrett, Bryleigh, Lilliana, and Brayden. Sisters Jeanie (Gene) Caudill, Karen Webb; brothers Ivan Webb and Charles (Margaret) Webb; sisters-in-law Betty Webb, Katie Webb, and Gayle Webb; nephews who were very special to her Donald Justice and Eddie Webb; special friend, Beverly Havens of Mt. Sterling.
Beverly Sue was employed at Columbus Plastics, Deer Creek State Park, Robert Shaw, Miami Trace School, Advanced Auto Warehouse, and UMC Day Care.
A Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Waterloo Church of Christ and Christian Union. Rev. Joy Stanforth officiating with the burial following in Waterloo Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon until time of service. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling.
