Beverly Holmstrom

Beverly Holmstrom, age 85, of Dublin, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at Emerald Crossing, Dublin Ohio. Beverly was born and raised in Morrisville, New York. There, she met her husband of fifty-four years, Louis Robert Holmstrom, who has preceded her in death. She is survived by her two children: Jeffrey (Sharon) Holmstrom of St. Joseph, Michigan and Jacalyn (Steven) Buck of Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren Andrew Buck (Laura), Jared Buck (Amanda), Aaron Buck, Zoey Holmstrom and Jada Holmstrom; great grandchildren Nathaniel Buck and Nicholas Buck. Also surviving are a brother, William (Buffy) Dougherty, and sister, Donna Dougherty, many nephews and nieces, and beloved friends.
While residing in Kentwood, Michigan, she was employed for many years as a legal secretary for a leading law firm in Grand Rapids, MI. She and her family were members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan before moving to Hilliard, Ohio. There she became a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Hilliard, Ohio.
As wife and mother she guided her family through times of both joy and difficulty, mentoring her beloved children while instilling values that led them to achieve success with their families and careers. As was true of her siblings, she was an accomplished musician who enjoyed playing the piano for her family and later for her friends at Emerald Crossing.
A graveside service will be held 11 am Wednesday at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 3225 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026 with Pastor Bob Abrams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hilliard Resurrection Lutheran Church, 3500 Main St., Hilliard, OH 43026.
