Bill Poehler

Bill D. Poehler, age 76, of Galloway, formerly of Flora, IL, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a car and gun enthusiast, loved playing video games and being around his grandchildren and family. Bill never knew a stranger. Preceded in death by parents Garrett and Rosalie Poehler, granddaughter Elizabeth, in-laws Nolan and Elizabeth Venable and brother-in-law Mike Venable. Survived by loving wife Carol, daughter Brigitte (Rory) Waller, sons Scott (Kristy) Poehler and Eric (Veronica) Poehler, sister Carol Coleman, brothers Rick (Jean Ann) Poehler and Mike Poehler, brother-in-law Pat Venable, 14 grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. In honoring Bill’s wishes cremation will take place.
