Billy R. Hope

Billy R. Hope Jr. (54), of Columbus, OH passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.  Billy was born in Dublin, Ireland to Billy R. Sr. and Joan (Gannon) Hope.  He is survived by his mother, Joan Hope and his sister, Dara Greene along with his nephew, Maxwell Greene.  Billy was preceded in death by his father, Billy R. Hope Sr.

Billy served the United States as a corpsman in the U.S. Navy.  He earned his Registered Nurse Degree from Community College of Rhode Island and served as a talented nurse, working in a number of Columbus nursing homes.  Billy was an artist and talented cartoonist.  His care for people, though, compelled him to help elderly people.  He was a favorite to many of his patients.  He was a loving person with many friends from all over the world.

The family will receive friends for a memorial service for Billy at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM.  The family suggests that flowers are not necessary, but they would appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
