Bobby R. Emery, Sr.

January 4, 2024, Bobby R. Emery Sr, age 78 of Hilliard, went to be with the Lord
joining his wife Barbara as he passed away peacefully with his son Bob at his side.

After moving from KY to Cincinnati, OH with his older brother Bill, Bobby met the
love of his life Barbara and were married in 1966 just before Bobby shipped out to
Vietnam where he proudly fought and served as a lineman for the U.S. Army.

After serving his country, Bobby and Barbara moved with their new son to
Hilliard, Ohio where he retired from Kal Kan/Mars and they spent the remainder of
their lives.

Bobby loved being outdoors, fishing, swimming and traveling, especially to
Hawaii. He enjoyed woodworking and making rocking chairs and toys for great
nieces and nephews and particularly for his pride and joy, his beloved granddaughters.

Bobby is preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara D. Emery, Bess Johnson
(sister), Jackie Emery (brother), Batey Emery (father) and Edith Emery (mother).

Bobby is survived by his son Bob Emery, Hope Emery (daughter-in-law), Morgan
and Rachel Emery (Granddaughters), Bill and Eddie Emery (brothers).

The Family will receive friends SATURDAY, January 13, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm
with service at 2:00 pm, immediately following visitation at TIDD FUNERAL HOME PLAIN CITY/DUBLIN, 9720 OH-161, Plain City, OH 43064.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
