Bonnie Foutz (Pickett), died on April 30, 2015 in Columbus, Ohio after an ongoing struggle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. She was 81.
Bonnie was born January 10, 1934 in Omaha, Nebraska to Ethel Fern and Don Ballinger. She married Raymond Pickett in 1954. They moved to Marion, Ohio in 1969 where she worked as a realtor. In 1986 she married Myron Foutz. They lived in Melbourne, Florida and then moved to Virginia before moving back to Ohio in 2012.
Bonnie Foutz was a devoted mother who loved and cared for her family, and beloved grandmother to James, Ben, David, Sarah (Brad) Herring, Ali, Christine, Sarah, Michael and Kyle. She is survived by her children Raymond, Jeff and Laurie, her step-children Steve, Barb and Sue, and dear friends Carol and Hal Dunham. She is preceded in death by her husband Myron Foutz, her sister Maxine, her bothers Don and Bobbie, and her son Michael Pickett.
A viewing is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. followed by a 11:30 A.M. funeral on May 4 at Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St, Hilliard, OH. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bonnie’s life. Graveside burial will follow at 1:30 P.M. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Marion County.
