Brent Corwin

Brent Wayne Corwin, 62, of Stockport, Ohio passed away December 18, 2024 with his loving family and friends by his side after a long brave battle with cancer. Brent was a talented and avid musician who was prominent in the Columbus Music Scene for over twenty-five years. Brent met the love of his life Kathy at band practice and they remained inseparable for nearly 31 years until the time of his death. Brent was so very proud of his three sons and the grandchildren that they blessed him with. Brent was a connoisseur of good whiskey and music trivia. He loved The Buckeyes and all of the family pets that he had throughout the years and leaves two little heartbroken dogs to mourn his loss as well. Preceded in death by Father Kenneth Wayne Corwin, Grandparents Bernard and Gladys Patterson and Russell and Kathryn Corwin and stepsister Kimberly Geczi. Brent is survived by his loving and devoted wife Kathy Corwin and Mother Carol (Charles) Gaul. Children Zachary (Jamie)Smith, Seth Smith and Corey Smith. Grandchildren Brayden Smith, Cameron Smith, Conner Smith, Abram Smith, Bailey Smith and Teagan Smith, Sister Lori (Jeff) Eberling, Stepmother Gaye Corwin, Brothers in law Ronnie (Lura) Webb, Ted (Lena) Webb and Sister-in-law Brenda Dean and several loving nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at The Event Room at Old Bridge Brewing Company on January 5, 2025 at 4:30 P.M. 281 West Main Street McConnelsville, Ohio 43756.
