Buford Fairchild

Buford Fairchild, age 75, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born May 1, 1941 in Denver, KY to the late Jesse and Grace Fairchild. Owner of Fairchild Excavating. He was a hard worker and enjoyed the outdoors, but his greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his family. He attended Miami Valley United Baptist Church. Preceded in death by 7 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by wife of 50 years, Rose; daughters, Diane Smith and Amy (Jeff) Hoover; grandchildren, Lindsay (Andrew) Allen, Mikaela (AJ) Joseph and Jordan Hoover; great granddaughters, Aubrey Allen and Remmy Joseph; brothers, Irvin and Willie Fairchild; sisters, Shirley Hill, Jean Blanton and Dollie Pennington all of Staffordsville, KY; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Friends may call Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH, where funeral service will be Monday, 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Alton Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
