Carl L. Hull

Carl L. Hull, age 80, of Columbus, Ohio, died Friday, December 7, 2018. Born in Manchester, Ohio, Carl was a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1954-58 serving in West Germany. He retired as Finance Director with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 30+ years of service. After his retirement, Carl worked for the General Services Administration in the Real Estate Division. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Gisela E. Hull. He was the proud father of Niels L. (Alicia Strickland-Jaeckel) Jaeckel of London, England, Sean T. (Angelika Sass) Hull of Arlington, VA, and Monique Hull of Paris, France. Carl’s adored grandchildren are: Kelsie Erin Polak, Elisabeth Johanna Sass and Anna Katerina Sass. Also surviving are his siblings: John “Pete” (Mitzi) Hull of Atlanta, GA, Connie Hull Hammond of Chillicothe, OH, Michael Hull of Columbus, OH and Betty Hull (Randy) Beatty of Hillsboro, OH and their families, and the extended Hencken Family in Germany. Carl’s family will gather from 2:00-4:00p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722. Burial Services with Military Honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA in the Winter, 2019.
