Carol Jean Frank

Carol Jean Frank, age 64, of Hilliard, Ohio, joined her late father in Heaven while at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Born in Columbus to the Betty and the late Charles Penwell, she was a graduate of Columbus West High School, Class of 1970. Carol was a long-time para-legal with Agee, Clymer, Mitchell & Portman Attorneys and a faithful member of Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church for many years. An avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, she loved spending time with her family and all of her adored grandchildren. Carol is survived by her mother Betty Penwell, her sister Gail (Ed) Cruz, brother Charles (Joni) Penwell, and their families; her loving children: Laura (Ray) Kimbleton, Susan (Chris) Barrows and Michael (Emily) Frank; grandchildren: Tiffany, Elizabeth, Madeleine, Isabelle, Emma, Owen and Charlotte; her former spouse Richard Frank, and her cousins, extended family members and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00p.m. on THURSDAY, MARCH 2, 2017 at SCIOTO RIDGE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 4343 Dublin Road, Hilliard, OH 43026 with Reverend Jason Wellman, officiating. Refreshments will be served after the service until 8:00p.m. Private burial will be observed by the family at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
