Carol McNamara

Carol Higham McNamara, born in Trenton, NJ January 1, 1934, passed away May 10, 2015. Graduated from Cathedral High School in 1951, Elizabeth General Hospital School of Nursing 1961, The Ohio State University for Nurse Anesthetist in 1963 and The Ohio State University School of Journalism in 1976. She worked as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist at Mount Carmel Medical Center for 22 years and Capital health Systems for 10 years. Preceded in death by husband Walter S. McNamara, parents Eleanor Yard Higham and Justice C. Higham, brothers Gerald P. Higham and Justice C. Higham Jr., sisters Mary Lou Sheppard and Eleanor Panfen. Survived by sons Jeffrey White of Galloway, OH and Douglas White of Hilliard, OH, brothers William Yard Higham, Michael Higham, Stephen Higham, Tim Higham, Tony Higham, Dennis Higham and Terry Higham, sisters Kathy Higham, Jane Thiel and Susan Boker, also many beloved nieces and nephews. Member of American Association of Nurse Anesthetist and Cathedral Alumni Association. Following Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
