Burke-Edwards (Davis) Carolyn J. (Davis) Burke-Edwards, 78, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away suddenly surrounded by her loving family, December 24, 2014. Originally from Columbus, Ohio. Survived by loving husband, George Edwards; two sons, Victor and Keith Burke; three step children, Steven, Alice and Elizabeth. Also leaves behind, a grandson, Jason (Dawn) Burke; and a great grandson, David Ramono. Preceded in death by mother and father Elroy and Elsie Davis, three brothers David Jerry and Garland Davis. Survived by two sisters, Marlene Freeman and Marilyn (Rick) Lambrecht; as well as two sisters-in-law, Vivian and Judy Davis; and many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was an artist and painted a variety of oil paintings which was an expression of her love. She loved animals and leaves behind her two kitty cats, Molly and Patches. Visting hours at Tidd Funeral Home, Hilliard, Ohio, Friday, January 2, 2015 4-8 p.m. Funeral at Tidd Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Capital Humane Society.
