Carolyn Dempsey

Carolyn L. Dempsey, age 82, of Hilliard, passed away peacefully at Doctors West Hospital on Monday, July 8, 2013. Born November 1, 1930 in Akron, OH to the late Anna and George Petkovich. She is also preceded in death by husband and Pat’s father Robert F. Dempsey, a much decorated WWII Veteran, along with brothers and sisters. Survived by son Patrick Dempsey (Jennifer Pitsinger), many nieces, nephews, long time devoted caregivers Bill and Donna Carter, family friend Joe Wentzel who is Pat’s “big brother” and mentor since 1977. Family will receive friends 6-7 pm Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Hilliard Church of Christ, 4300 Avery Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a memorial service will follow at 7 pm with Danny Vanscoy officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hilliard Church of Christ.
