Carolyn Homick

On Thursday, September 6, 2018, Carolyn Louise Homick, age 60, passed away at the Kobacker House after a long battle with cancer. Carolyn was a loving mother to Laura (Nick) Miller and Cathy Homick and proud grandmother of Kennedy Miller. Carolyn will be fondly remembered by her mother LaDonna Rihm, her sister and brothers, Susan (Edward) Yanos, Kenneth (Nancy) Rihm, and Charles (Janice) Rihm, her numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Rihm. 

When Carolyn wasn’t “breaking things” for Thirty-One Gifts, she could routinely be found playing on the floor or jumping around the house to avoid “hot lava” with her granddaughter. On a rainy day you could find her at the movie theater enjoying her favorite food, popcorn. She will be most remembered for her corny sense of humor, her no-quit mentality and her self-sacrificing personality. 

Carolyn’s family will receive friends Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church, 4343 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, Ohio.
