Catherine Marchetti

Catherine (Christoff) Marchetti “Kata”, age 83, of Hilliard, passed away January 30, 2022.  She was of Macedonia Orthodox faith. Graduate of West High School Class of 1956 where she was a cheerleader, played basketball, softball and was voted most athletic in her class. Former employee with Westinghouse, Lennox Corporation and Columbus Athletic Club. She was a member of the Moose Club and enjoyed going to the Hollywood Casino. Preceded in death by parents Pando and Trajana Christoff, dear sister Ruth Gashtevich and husband Theodore Marchetti Jr. Survived by son Christopher James (June Marie) Waldo, brother Carl (Francina) Christoff, nieces Diane (Rob) Kull and Dana (Jared) Clifford, nephew Michael Christoff, great-nieces and nephews Nicholas, Hayley, Jaden, Andrew, and Zachary, loving fur baby Casey and a host of friends. Following Catherine’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
