Catherine Phillips

Catherine Phillips, age 70, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on August 11, 2024.  She was born on October 15, 1953, in Dickenson County, Virginia to the late Pridemore and Georgia Phillips.

Catherine attended cosmetology school in her 20s in North Carolina but later started work at the John Glenn Columbus airport as an international ticket taker.  She eventually worked her way up to administrator before an early retirement.  She was an incredibly hard worker, but outside of work Catherine enjoyed spending her free time at the Casino, or off on her next adventure.  She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pridemore and Georgia Phillips, brothers, Pridemore Jr., Donald, Dan, and Terry Phillips and her sisters, Alice Pruett and Carolyn Sue Cole.

Catherine is survived by her brothers, Bob and Lynn Ray Phillips, sister, Jean P. Davis, and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends for a visitation and funeral service on Thursday, August 15 at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Ohio, 43026 beginning at 4:00 and ending at 5:00 for the funeral service to being immediately following at 5:00.
