Cecil Eldon Byerly, age 80, of Hilliard, went home to be with the Lord on March 31, 2014. Served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict and a member of Meadow Park Church of God. Graduate of West Jefferson High School and Franklin University. He retired from Ohio Bell/Ameritech after 36 years of service. Preceded in death by parents Hazel and Raymond Byerly, brother Bill, sisters Doris, Louise and Bonnie. Survived by loving wife Katie, children Julie Watson, Matthew and Andy, grandson Joshua Watson, brother Harold, sister Della Holland, numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. Family will receive friends 4-8 pm Thursday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Friday. Entombment Sunset Cemetery.
