Chad Cordle

Chad Cordle passed away in Riverview, Florida on February 7th, 2024 unexpectedly at the age of 51. Chad Cordle was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. His father was Paul Cordle (survived) and June Price (deceased). Chad was also heavily raised and supported by his Mammaw, Anna Price, who passed away in March of 2023. He also had an older half sister Megan, and a younger brother Todd (both survived). Chad served four years in the Navy on the USS Saratoga. After serving, Chad moved home to Columbus and married Michelle Eddy (recently divorced). Chad and Michelle had three children Taylor (26), Makayla (23), Dakota (18). Chad loved his kids and so proud of all they accomplished. He was never afraid to share how proud he was of them. 
Chad also had a passion for coaching. Chad coached for 12 years for the Hilliard optimist football league and 6 years coaching basketball for Hilliard optimist. Where he also served as a commissioner. Chad also coached for the Hilliard Girls Softball Association for 4 years, and then The Ohio Express for 8 years. He loved helping others learn and grow in any way they can. Chad was someone who would give everything he had to someone. His humor was able to lighten any moment and bring joy into people’s lives. Chad was also a very wise man behind all that fun. He was always teaching lessons (even if you didn’t realize it at the time). Chad truly left a mark everywhere he went. He will always be remembered as a family man who loved his kids more than anything, a man of love and kindness, a mentor, a friend, and a coach. Even though Chad may be gone we know his love for his family, blood related or not, will carry on. In honor of Chads life we will be having a service from 1-3pm on Saturday February 24th, 2024.
