Chad Potts

Chad Lee Potts, born April 26, 1978, died June 20, 2013 at the age of 35. He was a Veteran of the U.S.M.C with a tour in Iraq. He was an avid O.S.U. fan and was attending OSU Barber College in Columbus. Graduated from Westland High School Class of 1998. Preceded in death by grandparents Angus Potts, Ronald and Evelyn (Chapman) Wharton, aunt Patricia Walburn-Thomas. He is leaving behind his loving son Bryce Caleb Potts of Plain City, daughter Briley Ann Potts of San Jose, CA, father Charlie Potts, loving family members mother Connie Wharton of Bull Head City, AZ, brother Charles L. (Tasha) Potts II, sister Crissy L. (Russ) Shirkey, grandmother Marabel Potts, nephews and niece Mason Potts, Russ II, Gage and Allison Shirkey, aunts and uncles Sharon (Mark) McMillen, Bonnie Ramey, Jack Bolin, Charlie Thomas and Sharon Estes, special cousin and best friend Rick Walburn, longtime special friend Isabel Fields and many other cousins and close friends. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
